'EXHALE SPEAKER SERIES'
Dr Polly McGee
“From breathing to leading: don’t just change states, change lives.”
What if the breath you teach became the leadership you embody?
Neuro-leadership consultant, somatic psychotherapist, author and speaker.
Dr Polly McGee shares a powerful personal and professional journey. One that began with breathwork and evolved into a national career in trauma psychotherapy, neuroleadership and executive advisory. Breathwork wasn’t an add-on. It was the gateway. Through their own lived experience of healing, regulation and self-inquiry, Polly discovered that breath as more than a modality, but as a neuroleadership technology for whole system change.
Asta Fung
"Breathe in, breathe out - it's not rocket science"... Or is it?
Speech Pathologist; Educator; Clinical researcher of breathing and chronic pain
Asta will share her honest journey through breathing research, from skepticism and questioning. Including powerful insights shared by her research participants who became believers in the power of breath, alongside practical tips for how we, as breathing advocates, can talk about breath in ways that help others truly get it.
Asta’s work brings together communication sciences, respiratory physiology, and behavioural health to explore how breathing shapes human interactions, recovery, and wellbeing. Her current research focuses on breathing training for people living with chronic pain and gastrointestinal conditions, with a particular interest in online group programs that support accessible care.
